Baqette is a small, woman-owned leather goods brand founded by Quinn Mcilhargey-Nicholson, who began experimenting in 2012 with leftover leather from her uncle's furniture company. The brand launched officially in 2017 as a side project, began in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is now based in Cincinnati. Every item is handmade in its Cincinnati studio, mostly from upcycled leather, so colors come in limited quantities. The range includes bucket bags, crossbody bags, totes, wallets and pouches.
