What they make

Woeber Mustard Company is a family-owned maker in Springfield, Ohio. Carl Woeber, a German immigrant, founded it in 1905, starting with horseradish and a traditional German-style brown mustard. It began in a small building on Madison Avenue and now operates on five acres on Commerce Circle, with the third and fourth generations of the family working there. The line includes mustards, mayonnaise, dips and horseradish under brands such as Woeber's and Sandwich Pals, made in Springfield. Products are sold through retailers and the company's online store.

A mustard that belongs to Cleveland

Cleveland's Stadium Mustard

Ohio's best-known condiment is a Cleveland one. Stadium Mustard, made by Davis Food Company, is a brown mustard with a smooth, even brown color rather than the speckled look of a deli mustard, and a mildly spicy, European-style bite.

The company was founded by David Dwoskin in 1969, registered the trademark in 1971, and the mustard is now served at more than 150 stadiums and arenas, including Cleveland's home ballparks.
